Yarn Along

Well, first I've just gotta say I really can't believe it's December already. My mama did always say the years fly faster the older you get but, man! This one flew past. I am glad to have it here, though, it really is the most wonderful time of the year.
This week I'm working... well, LOTS! Currently, though, another crown. I never thought I'd be so glad to knit one of these, I've been drowning in a sea of caterpillars and teething dolls so this is a welcome change for the moment. And my book for the week is a one we received in the mail yesterday. It's a sweet little book that shows what all the different kinds of animals do in the winter and at the end it talks about different things you can make to feed the animals. The girls really loved that part so we're going to be making some of those tomorrow.
Check out what everyone else is knitting here.

I have been wanting to make a crown here too. My 4 year old would love one! I am thinking all my little ones might get one for Christmas!

Love your caterpillars. I may have to look into that book. I like the sound of the feeding ideas at the end.

Hi! Ive got your animals almost done, just the painting and polishing to go so they can be done as soon as Monday if your ready with the caterpillars. If you haven't had a chance to make them yet no hurry, this time of the year is so buisy so if you want to put them off until after Christmas I fully understand.

I enjoyed reading your last post, this is exactly how I feel. Im still figuring out how to find ways to celebrate Christmas time that are meaningful to me and your ideas were great! Wishing you lots of fun in your celebrations:) xo
