Meltdown Monday Giveaway

The comments on this giveaway are now closed.

Another Monday, another meltdown. This week's meltdown brought to me by River, the littlest among us. She's awfully sick, has been since Friday evening. She's been running a pretty hot temp on and off, currently off, thankfully and is so very cranky. Right now she's eating a banana and coloring with her big sisters and is relatively content, but it really doesn't take much to set her off.
This week's giveaway is inspired by the summer solstice (tomorrow!). I actually made the first one of these little suns (above) for a seasonal swap but I'm going to make one more for one of you lucky readers (and for anyone else that wants one, you can find them in my shop). And just to spread the warmth around I will be giving away one of the sun necklaces I blogged about yesterday, to a different reader. Two giveaways this week!

OK, so to enter leave me a comment. You can let me know how your Monday is going or, better yet, tell me how you beat the dreadful Meltdown Monday or just say hi. Whatever.

For additional entries;

Ooh, love it! Thanks for the chance. No meltdown here this week--how's that? (Finally!) It's warm and dry and the girls in my care are in good moods today; I'm smiling. Being outside all morning did it.

Hope your daughter's feeling better soon!
Oh that would be so perfect for our nature table... which is pretty much empty right now. We just made a star lantern for it this weekend and plan to go to the beach tomorrow for summer solstice and collect a bit of sand. :-)
Hi! That is soo cute. Not commenting to enter, BTW... Just wanted to say I hope River is over whateveritwas!

No, unfortunately she still isn't. :-( She threw up once and now my mom has a stomach bug so I think (hope) they're related. Now she's just cranky as could possibly be and had a fever again this morning. It's down now and I'm going to give it one more day before I give up and go to the Dr. Would really prefer not to have her on antibiotics.

love your suns!! we celebrate the solstice here and i am trying to get my house clean so i can prepare for said celebration. we had first full day of camp in the woods-didn't eat the protein in my lunch box-complete and total freak out once i get home to mommy-monday meltdown today. good times. ;)
Dear Julie, I am sending River well thoughts- when tiny children are sick it is such a difficult time. I hope you're getting enough rest, Mama!
This little sun child is so adorable!!!
My monday.. was.. not great. My oldest - the Elf (nearly 9) - is my meltdown kid. He likes to scream and yell and hit walls when things don't go his way. Today, being Tuesday, feels a great deal like yesterday. Except that I have some yummy iced coffee to drink today.
Monday was trailer cleaning day at my house....we just got a "new to us" 1976 Argosy Airstream trailer...it's so retro and cute...it's sitting on the top of our driveway for now, until we find somewhere to park it permanantly...I picture it as my own personal refuge for now!!
Beautiful creations...would love to win this sunny giveaway!

Oh this little sun gnome is just precious! What a perfect addition to a nature table. Thanks for the chance! Monday is errand day for us! Out and about, not a lot of fun when the tourist begin to come, but Mondays seem to be the day with the least people out. We make it a little special with a vist to the farm to get milk and a special treat from the local bakery or organic market.
I love that sun gnome! I'd like to figure out how you made his little sun hat. Also loving the little needle felted(?) sunshine pic behind it. I'm slowly learning that a rhythm/routine helps to avoid many meltdowns. It's a hard lesson for a fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants girl like me.
Not sure we have Monday meltdowns. Sunday evenings are when atleast one of the children will declare they don't want to do Monday. Love your creations. I'd love to win. Thanks for the chance.
Hi! It's Winter here at the moment which I'm loving but your little sun gnome has me dreaming of warmer days. We'd love to have them here. (currently pacing with my lil one, try not to have a meltdown!) Thanks!
Thanks for the comment on my blog- I'm enjoying looking around yours. And these beautiful suns! You are one talented mama! (glad to hear you wee one is feeling better!)
