Close

<span class=
Sometimes, when we lie very close, I see my children with very open eyes. I see things I miss every day. I see new freckles and deeper dimples. I see relatives I hadn't noticed before. I see growing, I see a childish wisdom. I see beauty unparalleled and so much love returned to me.

I'm taking the time to lie very close to them more often. I don't want to miss a thing.

I just closely read this and it makes my heart pang. I remember when my first was 2 days old and how much I wanted to hold onto. And now, it is on rare occasions that I can slow down enough for moments like those. I don't want to miss a thing, thanks for posting.
A great felling, we have to hold on to them, and enjoy.
What a sweet, sweet post...I know exactly what you mean. Their faces are so beautiful, and evolve so quickly. My niece just turned thirteen, and I was shocked to see a woman's face taking over her childish one. It just happened so quickly.
