After two full weeks of one or another of us being sick, the Hunter household is now all-better and back out enjoying the beautiful spring weather. Here, the weather has been so very nice... 75-85 degrees, many evenings topped off with a delicious thunderstorm, lulling us to sleep. I know the heat of summer is just around the corner, but for now, I'm soaking it up.

We've been spending a great deal off time gathering wild plants for some herbal preparations I have planned. I've also begun a journal of various herbs and their applications. I've found so many different resources.. a little here, a little there. I'm taking the time to get them all down in one place. I'll share that with you soon.

But for now, I'm off to bed. By the way, if you've not already entered, check out this week's giveaway and let me know of you'd like to participate in a Meltdown Monday Giveaway.

So glad you're all feeling better! May is such a nice month. We saw the first lightening bugs tonight so summer is just around the corner but for now we are really enjoying these late spring days and nights. Beautiful flowers in the first few photos. Beautiful girls in the next few:)

Thank you, Elisa. We got home late on Tuesday after Kaiya's ballet recital and the hill over the road was just sparkling with fireflies. Looked like millions of diamonds!

Isn't that the truth! My it's so lovely but don't we feel awful. :) Glad it's passed now and we can enjoy all the loveliness.

Glad you are all well again! It seems odd that your spring temps are our summer temps!
After clicking over to your pinterest page I was instantly inspired to design a proper herb drying rack for us this year! I usually just tie the bunches together and find any empty spot to hang them but a proper rack would be so nice to see them all neat and together! I still have bunches of tea hanging around that I'm sure is covered in dust by now....yuck!

Thank you, Joey. :) Yeah, I suppose those temps would exactly be nice to those up north but I'll take what I can get! This wkend has been sooo nice... temps in the mid 70s, blue skies and a cool breeze. Hard to imagine the summer solstice is less than 2 wks away.

I hang all my herbs in bunches too,, mostly on the pot rack. Which gets annoying when I have to remove a pot. Now that this busy wk is over I think I'll finally get around to making one of those.

Hope you have a great wk!
