Rain Would Be Nice

I mean a good, drenching, soaking rain. One that will really fill up these dry, thirsty plants and break the heat and cool us down. Right now, I can hear the sky rumbling and I've lost my connection twice already, but no rain. Here's hoping...

We've been hovering on the edge of rain for days now...yesterday it got as close as lightning and thunder and a few drops...but then it all just blew over. I'm in the mood for a good storm, myself!! I have no idea where you live...that plant is so thirsty-looking! Will do a rain dance in my kitchen tonight and see if that helps!

That's a good idea, perhaps there will be dancing here tonight, too! I am in NC, and will, very shamefully admit that, about 3 wks ago I was outright complaining about all the rain. Well, I take it back and really would like to have some. I had dinner with girlfriends tonight and they were talking about what a storm they had this afternoon (they live 'in town'). What rain, I said?!
