Glasses

It's so strange to see her this way. I am the only child in my family with glasses so I can imagine my mother felt the same way, seeing me in my first pair, also at the age of six. She looks darling, childish and a little more grown-up, all at the same time. They are pink (so were mine), her favorite color. I can't help but wonder how long they'll last...
