Let It Be

Some days, you just have to let be what will. Yesterday was one of those days. For all three girls it was a high energy/high conflict day.
I made a really warm and yummy apple pie oatmeal for breakfast and I told the Harvest Loaf story as we made our dragon bread... and that was about it. I decided that launching into a craft or much of anything on this day would only lead to more frustration. Know what I mean?

Regardless, we all have enjoyed our Michaelmas week. Truly a beautiful way to kick off fall.

P.S. Don't forget to enter to win this sweet bunny.

Oh yes, Laura it's very delicious! Only thing, I sauteed the apples in a bit of butter til they were softened before I cooked the oatmeal. The recipe said to just add the raw apple to the oatmeal water but I really don't think this would soften them much at all.

Ah, that sort of day! Still, I don't imagine there's much that warm apple oatmeal pie doesn't go some way towards curing - yum!
