Yarn Along

Not quite in the needles yet, inspiration has struck for a new cardi for my girls. This one will be for River's birthday (next Tuesday, eek!). Since this one I made was smallish I wanted to knit another for her that would be wearable for some time and I'm knitting it up in Malabrigo Silky Merino, super soft and lightweight, so it will go well into spring. I have an idea about the construction so we will see about that.
Currently browsing, Sew Darn Cute and Sew Pretty Home Style. Both chock full of sweet projects and hopefully will inspire me to dust the cobwebs of my machine.
Chicken buttons for the cardi, bought on clearance at Jimmy Beans.
In unrelated news, she sleeps! On my back anyway. I don't want to tempt fate and lay her down. Her crankiness is on the rise and nights are growing loooonger. Let's hope this tooth appears within the next day or so we both can rest. And thank you sweet ladies so much for your kind wishes.

Love the buttons and the books sound cute. I have been inspired to get out my sewing machine a little bit more lately as well. good luck with the sleeping and tooth. We still have very short nights here with our four year old.

And I must say I love your banner pictures.

Thanks for stopping by.

Oooo, that's a great yarn choice, though I must say that squishy baby was my favorite part of the post!

Oh I hope for your sake that that tooth pops up soon. Teething is soooo hard, on everyone!

I suspect a new tooth here as well -- drooling has returned with a vengeance. It's got to be an eye tooth, though, so hoping it will go pretty easily. Oh, these silly babies!

I hope the tooth appears soon. I was just spending some time on your blog on Monday I post links that I love I'll be adding the post about the knit swap. I have nothing to give but I'm happy to pass the word along.

Sweet picture of the little babe. She looks so cozy cuddled up to you like that.

I wonder which of our baby will get the tooth out first. I feel like all 6 of them wants to get out at the same time... So when you won't sleep that night, think that I'm not sleeping much either!

The buttons are really cute. I would have grab them too if I saw them on clearance.

Aw! Ok, I will admit it, my favorite thing about this post is the sleeping baby with the hat. =) So adorable.
