Benny and Rose

We've added some new, woolly friends to the family. Meet Benny and Rose. They're both French Angora rabbits.
Obviously, neither is in full coat at the moment but I can't wait til they are! Benny (the white one) is a neutered buck and he's almost one year old. Rose is only a few months old.
They'll both be staying indoors with us and we're working with litter training them. Anyone have experience with litter training rabbits? Tips?
The girls are thoroughly enchanted with them and are being pretty gentle when petting them. Zoe did get nipped by Rose, nothing serious and now she understands she shouldn't try to pick them up.
We currently don't have any in-the-house-pets, so I'm really happy to have some new companions around here. They're so incredibly soft, I could just sit and pet them for hours.
In other news, I didn't participate in the Yarn Along this week because I've actually not been knitting. Several days ago I began experiencing some terrible pain in my right wrist and hand. I'm afraid I may have developed a case of carpal tunnel syndrome. I'm so bummed about this. The thought of not being able to knit is just awful. I did buy a wrist brace and I ceased knitting and cut back on computer time for about 4 days, till the pain was mostly gone. Now I'm just being careful, wearing my brace when knitting and using the computer, exercising my wrists. I just hope it doesn't get any worse. A life without knitting is like a life without sunshine! OK, a bit dramatic, I know. But you get the point.

By the way, check out the new knits that are up for grabs in the Hand Knit Hand Me Down group. If you're a knitter and you haven't joined you really should!

Those bunnies look so snugly. I want to reach through the computer screen and hold them. I can't wait to see more pictures of them

Oh!! So cute! I showed my boys and they loved that post! =) What adorable bunnies. I always think it'd be fun to have pets, but then we never bother, because we move all the time. One day I wouldn't mind having some cute, fluffy, soft, pets.

Oh, oh- those rabbits are so adorable! They almost do not look real!
I am so sorry to hear about your wrist. I would be so lost without knitting- I do not think you are being dramatic at all! Your hands really are such a gift! I hope you have relief soon- perhaps with attention and care they will be just fine.

What cuties they are. We had an indoor bunny many years ago and the thing I most recall is that he had a fondness for chewing through cords of all kinds - phone, answering machine, radio, etc.

Hello - what a delight to meet you - I just followed a link from Bumpkin Bears and found you. I am RABBIT MAD. My house rabbit is Humphrey - seven years old, lionhead. You can see him on my blog & website - he is the shop mascot. (In charge of marketing, lol!)

Anyway, he is fully litter trained, if you want any advice etc - just email me.

Love Charlotte

Oh so adorable! we used to have bunnies that we kept in hutches outdoors but would bring them inside for cuddle time. I've heard that you can paper train a bunny to do their business in the same place everytime but have no idea how it's done :) Oh how I remember how soft they were and angora bunnies are the best :) have a wonderful weekend!
